In The Community
Jay Pyne is an active participant in the greater Atlanta Community. As a member of the Buckhead Business Association (BBA), Jay participates in community service projects with their partner organizations. The BBA is "a nonprofit organization promoting a positive and informed business environment for its members to achieve cultural, civic, social, economic, and business goals, and actively contribute to the vitality of the greater Buckhead community."
In addition, Jay actively volunteers with various charities such as Folds of Honor, Angel Flight, and Joseph's House.
Folds of Honor
Folds of Honor
- Since 2007, Folds of Honor has carried a single mission of providing educational scholarships to spouses and children of fallen and disabled service-members. Jay has contributed to this great cause by annually participating in the Crabapple Sr, Invitational in Alpharetta, GA.
- Angel Flight organizes free transportation for people who need to travel to receive lifesaving medical treatment, but lack the means. They're goal is to help families focus on getting better instead of worrying about how to get there.
- Joseph's House is a very special organization to the entire Pyne family. Jay's mother, Helen Taney, has been a volunteer of Joseph's House for many years. Through his mother, Jay makes monetary donations to the organization. Furthermore, Intercoastal hosts a year-round donation drive for the "Blessing Box" outside of Joseph's House in Washington DC, which holds supplies for members of the neighborhood in need.
